The masses look toward the end; jokingly yet wantingly
Little do the un-enlightened understand the end comes once

Unique to each their own
Humanity is the Grand Architect’s will and pleasure
An experiment in love and devotion like no other
We as a kind have survived longer than the fragile mind
The spirit has been fluid and guiding long before we learned to walk
This great test bed will not simply come to a halt
Nor will it be a fiery reign of judgment and death
All of those things your spirit fears and secretly desires
Will be given on that final moment when your eyes rest
That final image and last breath drawn in fills the body
And the soul escapes to be one with that which is
Then the judgment will be executed
The weight examined
One’s sentence passed
Then either your spirit will be worthy of enlightened elevation
Joining with all that is and understanding all that is
Or to be punished back into the cycle

I often look around a see the world for what it is. I step out of my reality for a brief moment and realize things are not as I see them to everyone else. I wonder sometimes if somehow I was transplanted into the wrong time. Then I realize that the “right time” never really exists, it’s a singular hope of the human condition.

As with everything, I mean that on multiple levels. Those who know me and have had the pleasure of suffering thru me know how different I am.

The desire to seek out the right time is a lie we tell ourselves to procrastinate, to comfort, and to misdirect those items that run through our mind at night.

If Friday should teach us anything, that is the right time may never come if you are holding out for it, or if like me sometimes feel you were warped past it and are searching for its place as the Great Wheel turns on.

The right time leads to rejects, rebuke, often based on the most mundane and ultimately pointless of reasons. The right time often causes one to walk away while the Truth left on the table is that their Fortitude ran out, and the Strength gave way to fear.

Just today I was told it wasn’t the “Right Time” about something. I don’t handle rejection well. It is definitely not one of my best qualities. I admit that. Though the Truth is, if we all set aside our fears, and our concerns and in embraced the moments we have for what they are: Friendship, Love, Passion, Congratulations, Celebration, Promotion of a friendly soul or kindred spirit, Or simply a kind act to that disguised guardian of the Holy Light sent here to test our resolve. If we simply would take the time, even for the perceived small things that could wait for the “Right Time”, the world would change one simple act by one compounding simple act.

I sat at lunch with a friend and co-worker one day. This young lady waited on us. She was busied and obviously stressed. (Of course those who know me know I will head the call on my heart, right or wrong by the standards of culture and mankind; for I feel it is my line to the Devine.) My co-worker and I nearly at the same time commented to ourselves while she was away how nice she smelled, how attractive it made her despite all other qualities and things at the time. I joked that he should ask her the name of the perfume, of course we instantly degraded to elementary school with the “No you do it” routine.

Later after our plates were finished and I could see she was doing her best to be a courteous, polite and attentive host, she came to get our plates. So I hit her with the question right there: “Ma’am, I have an odd request. Would you please tell us the name of the perfume you are wearing? It is quite beautiful and I would like to know what it is called.” She went from being in that annoyed stressed waitress mode, to being caught off guard, to smiling and chipper faster than I expected. She thanked me for asking then told me the name of it. Twice in fact so that she made sure I got it thru her accent.

Point is she smiled. She was smiling when we left. Which was far better than when we first met her?

I guess I am just trying to say, stop making excuses. Stop putting things off. All you do is cause more pain, and sometimes lose the chance completely to make a difference. If you have children hug them every day. Tell them how much they mean to you.

I guess it is best said:

vita summa brevis spem nos vetat incohare longam

So the next time you are sitting across from a friend, a loved one, a family member, or a stranger, and the Great Spirit reaches into your heart and lays the burden on you to act. Do not ignore it. Say what is meant for that moment. Live to the fullest. Embrace what has been sat before you, you never know when your rejection, in-action, or hesitation, may cost you everything you have worked for or desire.

One day that soul, that spirit that has blessed you with their presence may be taken from you, or it may finally give in itself; and decide being denied is enough that its own self-value is far more precious than that perceived of yours and move on to another treasure waiting to be collected, embraced, enjoyed.

For when it comes to relations being friends, family or love, we are social and we are meant to be together, support one another, celebrate each other and with each  other.
